Szuting considers
a perfect shoe needs to rate highly in four key areas that are
both independent and interdependent. These are aesthetic design,
suitability and quality of materials, comfort and fit, and construction.
Each collection has inspirations from around the globe. Designers
on the Kitty Croquet team design for labels in Europe, Asia
and America. So influences from all of those countries are mixed
and diced. Uniquely Australian designs are part of the mix and
they in turn influence shoes sold in France, Taiwan, England,
USA, etc. Kitty Croquet shoes are most commonly described as
just “beautiful”...in the purest meaning of the
word.
The leathers and materials chosen are always of the highest
level. A significant portion of the value of the shoes comes
directly from the leathers and trims used. Many of our shoes
could be made with cheaper and lower quality materials, but
Kitty shoes are meant to make you feel special and proud. We
cannot achieve such lofty goals with sub-standard leather choices.
All the shoes are leather lined for the comfort and health of
your feet.
It might surprise you that the majority of time that we spend
on designing the range is not on the straps or zips or trims.
Most of our design time is spent on the construction and fit
of the shoes. While the Kitty collection is not a “comfort”
brand, the shape, height and weight distribution of the shoes
are our highest priority. The result is comfortable, stable,
safe shoes that you can enjoy wearing all day...not just for
the first hour or two.
Your greatest fashion accessory ever is your smile. With unique
designer shoes, made with the most luxurious of leathers, that
are comfortable to wear all day long, we know you will be smiling.
